monday june 4
today i washed the dishes using cold water rather than warm, because it was so hot in my kitchen that i figured i couldn't handle the heat and ought to go for the more refreshing route instead.

You do know the hot water's supposed to help with the cleaning, right?
Or at least that's what my mother always told me, as she shoved my hands into the scalding hot sink, night after night.
