today i had a dream in which i showed up at a new year's party that had a dress code which required all those present to wear nice shoes; dress shoes. when i looked down at my feet, not only was i not wearing dress shoes, but the shoes i was wearing didn't even match -- a running shoe on one foot and a boot on the other!!

somewhat related story: during an afternoon nap the other day i had a dream i peed my pants in front of all my friends. that very night, some wicked drunk 18-year-old spilled rye and coke all over my lap.
maybe you're gonna lose a shoe.
i actually once left the house wearing two different boots (one black, one brown). Didn't realize it until I was on the subway.
