today i had a job interview. while the interview itself went fairly well, the part i felt best about after the fact was the brief post-interview conversation, when the interviewer and i had agreed that the new big boi album is awesome.

I listened to Big Boi in total again, and while it's now firmly-established territory that that album is brilliant, jesus god it's long. Call me old-fashioned, but I like a solid 45-minute LP.
Also, while it's a bit of a tamer, lesser-ambitious work, The Roots' How I Got Over is also worth checking out.
