tuesday january 30
today i attempted to make a mix cd composed entirely of songs in which the band repeated its own name within the lyrics (non-rap and non-monkee division). i got to 13 tracks and 41 and a half minutes before getting stuck. for now.

"Killer Parties" by The Hold Steady? Granted it's at the very end of the song (and album), but still.
well i went with 'positive jam' by the hold steady since they say it a few times there.
You canned the monkeys, ey? That's a shame. Anyway i'm going to think about this more during my school day and see if I can't come up with more. Awesome mix idea.

Was it mostly full of rap songs? Like, Just Blaze and G-unit and stuff? Seems to be the direction I'd go.
I guess I don't read brackets. Seemed unimportant at the time. :(
Morningwood? That song always gets in my head, but I can never seem to get the timing right.
'nth degree' was one of the 13, yeah.
pipettes?
'we are the pipettes' was one of the 13! (actually the second one i thought of, after the tokyo police club song that inspired the project!!)
