today i attempted to take a step toward my jeopardy! dream by taking an official online test at the show's website. sadly, i only ended up answering about 17 of the test's 50 questions correctly, not only casting doubts on my perceived jeopardy! skills, but making me wonder whether i also secretly suck at wheel of fortune, family feud and so on.

One of the semi-terrifying things about moving back into my parents' house: Nightly viewing of Wheel of Fortune at dinner.
I made it interesting, though, by suggesting we all bet 50 cents on the final puzzle, and if no one gets it, the pot rolls over. Just the other night I won $10. Not exactly the highest stakes, but I figure it'll cover two crewmembers' lunch of Day 1 of shooting my movie.
What Jack is failing to mention is that when the pot is high, he'll text me to get the final puzzle answer from here in the Nova Scotia Fantasy Future Timezone (also known as AST) where it plays two hours earlier than in MN. What's worse is that now TiVo thinks I have a thing for Pat Sajak.
Sorry, Jack, it's not our dirty little secret anymore...
